# Group

> Structure of the group object in the Exode API

The `group` object describes a learning or product group: its members, access rules, schedule and communication
settings.

  The [`group/list/raw`](/en/exode-api/school/group/list) list method returns a compact projection
  (`groupId`, `name`, `courseId`, `courseName`, `membersCount`). The full public structure of the `group` object is described below.

## `group` fields

### Basic

<ResponseField name="name" type="string" required>Group name.</ResponseField>
<ResponseField name="space" type="enum" required>Group space: `Education`.</ResponseField>
<ResponseField name="order" type="integer | null">Sort order.</ResponseField>
<ResponseField name="maxMembers" type="integer | null">Maximum number of members.</ResponseField>

### Limitations and settings

  Communication settings (Telegram channel, group chat, connection modes).

  Access limitations: start type, common start date, duration, etc.

  Schedule limitations (access windows by day/hour, date restrictions).

  Content limitations (lesson access rules, dependencies on assignments).

### Telegram

<ResponseField name="isTgConnected" type="boolean | null">Whether the group has an active Telegram connection.</ResponseField>

<ResponseField name="tgConnectionMode" type="enum | null">
  Telegram connection mode: `Disconnected`: no Telegram channel or chat is linked to the group; `Connected`:
  a channel or chat is linked; `Required`: linked, and the user must have Telegram to enroll in the group.

### System audit fields

<ResponseField name="createdAt" type="string" required>Creation date (ISO 8601).</ResponseField>
<ResponseField name="updatedAt" type="string" required>Update date (ISO 8601).</ResponseField>
<ResponseField name="archivedAt" type="string | null">Archive date or `null`.</ResponseField>
